The Caesar Guerini Apex arrives with a bang
Caesar Guerini Apex Sporter 32"
Pick up Caesar Guerini’s Apex now and you can practice at sporting clays all summer, then hit the dove field on target and in style come September. Since 2003, Guerinis have earned a reputation as guns that shoot as good as they look, and the Apex is no exception. Engraved sideplates, a skeleton grip cap, and high-grade walnut give a rich appearance, while crisp trigger pulls and a shade of weight-forward balance promise Xs on the scorecard.
The Apex gives you a lot of gun for your money (though it ain’t cheap). The engraving, for instance, combines laser, EDM, and old-world hand techniques to create a deep-relief acanthus pattern that would add thousands to the price if it were done entirely by hand. The gun comes in field, sporting, and trap versions, in 12, 20, and 28 gauges.
This year Guerini USA opened a custom shop in its Cambridge, Maryland, headquarters, offering services such as gun fittings and custom stock dimensions. Prices start at $6,995; gueriniusa.com
