Rebecca Darwin, president and publisher, continues a successful career in publishing. Born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, Darwin attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She established her career at GQ, where she implemented national retail advertising and promotions programs. She later became the first female publisher of the New Yorker, the publisher of Mirabella, and the marketing director of Fortune. She also served as the president and CEO of the National Association for Female Executives. Darwin's immersion in the worlds of journalism, fashion, literature, advertising, and business brings an understanding and grace to the pages and offices of Garden & Gun.

Sid Evans, editor in chief, brings invaluable knowledge and experience to Garden & Gun from his previous positions as the editor in chief of Field & Stream and editorial director of Salt Water Sportsman. Raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Evans attended Connecticut College. At Field & Stream, he earned the magazine an unprecedented nine National Magazine Award nominations, including a highly coveted nomination for General Excellence. Prior to working at Field & Stream, Evans was the editor of Men's Journal. He has also worked as a senior editor at Sports Afield and GQ.  His superb instincts as an editor combined with a background as a Southerner and an avid outdoorsman uniquely suit him for his position with Garden & Gun.
