Rebecca Darwin is President & CEO of Indigo Acquisition LLC, the media company she formed with partner Pierre Manigualt in 2009 that owns Garden & Gun. Ms. Darwin launched Garden & Gun in Spring 2007, after moving back south to Charleston, South Carolina, following a successful career in publishing in NYC. In 2007, the magazine was named the #2 hottest launch of over 700 magazines that year and has just recently been nominated for a National Magazine Award in General Excellence by the American Society of Magazine Editors. The Garden & Gun brand has continued to develop under her direction through the development of the e-newsletters, the Garden & Gun Club, G&G Auctions, and the G&G Store. Darwin grew up in Columbia, SC, attended the University of North Carolina, and then moved to New York. She established her career at GQ, where she implemented national retail advertising and promotions programs and later became the first female publisher of The New Yorker, publisher of Mirabella, and was the marketing director of Fortune. She also served as the president and CEO of the National Association for Female Executives. Her immersion in the worlds of media, fashion, advertising and business bring an understanding and grace to the offices of Indigo Acquisition and Garden & Gun.

Sid Evans, editor in chief, brings invaluable knowledge and experience to Garden & Gun from his previous positions as the editor in chief of Field & Stream and editorial director of Salt Water Sportsman. Raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Evans attended Connecticut College. At Field & Stream, he earned the magazine an unprecedented nine National Magazine Award nominations, including a highly coveted nomination for General Excellence. Prior to working at Field & Stream, Evans was the editor of Men's Journal. He has also worked as a senior editor at Sports Afield and GQ.  His superb instincts as an editor combined with a background as a Southerner and an avid outdoorsman uniquely suit him for his position with Garden & Gun.
