I've written about Chris and Kirk Bray's leather goods before, but this afternoon I ran across a video featuring an interview with the duo, and I loved it. In the piece, they talk about the importance of making beautiful, classic things by hand, the importance of authenticity, and the importance of being able to hand those things down to your children and your children's children—and, well, that kind of talk just makes my heart beat a little faster. Truly great look - the Brothers Bray Laptop Briefcase(Urban Outfitters) is one of the most tasteful and timeless designs I have probably ever seen, yet the size is about 1/2" too small for a 15" MacBook Pro (not a huge laptop and very common size). It just breaks my heart to have to return it now. Perhaps I will find another use...

These guys are talented artists, good humans and very sweet guys. I've known them since they were in high school; they are the real thing.
