Hello, 2012

By Elizabeth HutchisonJanuary 4, 2012

The Christmas decorations are back in the attic, the requisite collards, Hoppin’ John, and pork have all been consumed and at G&G we are back in the office and gearing up for 2012 which means it’s time to clear the clutter from our desks and get organized. First step: a new 2012 calendar. We’ve got our eye on these Southern-inspired letterpress wall calendars that easily double as art.

1.) Fourth Year Studio: Inspired by traditional and contemporary quilt patterns, this calendar from the Knoxville, Tennessee-based, Fourth Year Studio does double duty as stationary. Twelve kraft paper envelopes are included and a perforated edge allows you to tear off the bottom design for a last minute birthday, anniversary, or thank you note.

2.) Brown Parcel Press: For her 2012 calendar, designer Megan Boling looked to her Georgia farm for inspiration. Each month features gorgeous seasonal produce. We’re fans of the June blueberries. What do you think?

3.) Mink Letterpress: These vintage handkerchief designs from North Carolina-based Mink Letterpress are anything but old-fashioned.
