Garden & Gun contributing photographer Sully Sullivan experienced South by Southwest in a rather unusual way last year. With a trailer full of sets, photo equipment, props, backdrops, and fake snow, Sully and his crew drove a straight 24 hours to Austin, Texas, to experience what he recalls as the “greatest, most hard working project in my life.” He wanted to tell a musician’s story through photographs.
