A hungry G&G staff walked across the street for some okra soup, homemade sandwiches, and music by The Lime & the Coconuts. Hats off to the folks at Second Presbyterian Church in Charleston for the Friday fuel. Not to mention the delicious desserts!

January 09
SHOT Show: G&G distributed magazines at the Beretta booth to potential advertisers and subscribers.
Winyah Bay:  Magazines distributed and displayed at cocktail party held at Indigo Society in Georgetown, SC.
atlART [09]: G&G competed with several top-tier publications to receive lead media sponsorship and was chosen based on our demographics which complemented their audience…what an honor!
Atlanta Fly Fishing Festival: G&G was an in-shore theatre sponsor, featured on back cover of festival program, and several hundred magazines were distributed.
AHA Heart Ball: Rebecca proudly served as chairwoman of the Heart Ball in Charleston. The night was a big success and served a great cause.
Southeastern Flower Show: Presented by the Southeastern Horticultural Society in Atlanta. G&G was a media sponsor and featured in all collateral.
 
 
February 09
Nashville Antiques and Garden Show:  One of the most prominent antiques and garden shows in the country, this year’s festival was themed Sustaining Beauty. G&G was distributed throughout the show and was featured in a full-page ad.
Southeastern Wildlife Expo:  Another successful year at SEWE. G&G was a corporate sponsor and had a beautiful tent decorated by Out of Hand. Supporters flocked to the tent and all magazines were gone by the end of the festival.
 
 
March 09
Historic Charleston Foundation Int’l Antiques Show:  G&G was a major sponsor, contributing a beautiful magnolia tree for the Young Collectors’ Auction.
Boykin Spaniel Society’s Nationals Competition:  G&G participated in an auction benefiting the Boykin Rescue Group by donating two subscriptions.
 
 
April 09
Bobby McAlpine Furniture Launch:  G&G issues were distributed in the showrooms in both Charlotte and Atlanta.
Savannah Garden Expo:  G&G was a $5000 in-kind sponsor and had a large presence at the entire event, including the preview party.
Virginia Fly Fishing Festival:  G&G returned to Waynesboro as a gold-level sponsor at the 9th Annual VFFF. 
S.C. Aquarium Environmental Stewardship Awards Gala: Honorees of this year’s gala include Alexandra and Philippe Cousteau and MeadWestvaco. G&G was a major sponsor. Around 400 guests received G&G gift bags with the April/May 09 issue.  
La Belle Soiree:  G&G participated in this year’s event –a Soiree in the Garden– benefiting the Atlanta Opera. The Southeastern Horticultural Society joined the Atlanta Opera in hosting the event at the historic home of Betty and Robert Valentine. Guests received G&G gift bags and the current issue.

 
May 09
McCrady’s Farm to Fork Dinner:  G&G joined McCrady’s in hosting an exclusive dinner for six at the McCrady’s farm on Wadmalaw Island.  The dinner was the item G&G contributed to the auction lot at the ACBA’s November Fete.  Chef Sean Brock prepared the feast.
