Screen Porch Photo Contest
What is it about an old screen porch in the South that's so charming? Maybe it's how practical they are (anything that keeps bat size Southern bugs at bay is a welcome respite), maybe it's because they are built for relaxing with friends and family. I was catching up on a few blogs last night and stopped cold when I spotted this amazing screen porch by Southern designer Cortney Bishop. I love the haint blue floors and ceiling, the pops of French red, the antique textiles, and the rustic textures.

Which got me thinking...
I know there are more beautiful screen porches out there. I want to hear from you, dear readers, about your own screen porches or ones you've seen and admired. This will be a Screen Porch Photo Contest, with my favorites posted on Belle Decor in early September (the perfect time for porch sitting) and one winner will recieve a G&G prize (picked by me).
All you have to do is send a quick digital snap to editorial@gardenandgun.com with the subject "Screen Porch." Also, remember to include your name, the last name homeowner, and the location.
Can't wait to see what you submit!!
