If the several hundred emails in our inbox that accompanied our last Good Dog Photo Contest are any indication, Southerners—at least the G&G-subscribing variety—are dog people. Retrievers, spaniels, pointers, terriers, pups of mixed or questionable lineage; no matter the breed, Southern canines have one thing in common: they are well-loved.

After a brief hiatus, we are excited to announce our latest Good Dog Photo Contest.  Send photos of your pooches to photos@gardenandgun.com by Monday, July 2.

Please be sure to include the name, breed, and city/state of your pup. Our editors together with our photo team will sort through the images, selecting winners and runners-up for each of the following categories: Dogs at Play, Dogs in the Field, Dogs at Rest, and Dogs Being Dogs. Four winners will receive a G&G prize pack.
