October 10, 2009 – The Frist Gala, held at the Frist Center for Visual Arts, kicked off the much anticipated exhibit Georgia O'Keeffe and Her Times: American Modernism from the Lane Collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The black tie event was designed by Joe Smith of Ilex, catered by Kates Fine Catering,  and included luxury auction items such as a weekend at Blackberry Farm, a New York Fashion Week package, a Caribbean Safari at Turks & Caicos, and an evening with Billy Reid.
