In this short film by Joe York, John Currence, aka Big Bad Chef, takes us on a magical journey to the Bourbon Mall outside of Leland, Mississippi, which sadly recently burned down. Like a lot of places in the Mississippi Delta, the Bourbon Mall served hot tamales, but the folks there were the only ones we've found so far that had enough guts to deep-fry them. Check your cholesterol at the door, and follow the Big Bad Chef on a deep-fried detour through the Secret South.
