The Garden & Gun Creative Services team seeks a smart, creative, and eager team player to work with the Creative Services department as a Design Intern. The intern will assist the team in creating sales pieces, event collateral, and custom content, while honing their own design skills and learning the processes of marketing development.
The ideal candidate has a can-do attitude and possesses strong design and communication skills. This is an opportunity to learn from a collaborative team that values innovation and creativity, while having fun.
Intern opportunities include:
–Creating graphics and design layouts for print, digital, and social media
–Collaborating with the marketing department and support campaigns with design solutions
–Establishing and implementing production schedules
–Supervising and executing all project production needs with precision and attention to detail, while working with vendors best suited for the project
–Learning the process of creative budgets and acquiring print estimates
–Highly proficient in Adobe CS
–Exceptional typography and layout skills
–Adept at basic studio skills – creating physical comps, mockups, and short-run printed materials
–Have a “just say yes” attitude and be open to design suggestions/changes
–Prior experience in illustration, photography, video production, and web design a plus
–Must be available Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
–Must be 21 years of age
–Post-college graduate or equivalent in art/design degree program
This G&G internship is focused on the educational enrichment of the intern and is compensated solely through a small monthly stipend.
