Porchlight

Yield: approximately 6 shooters

Ingredients

    • 6 oz. high-proof bourbon (100 proof or higher)

    • 1½ oz. peach cordial or peach syrup (can use syrup from canned peaches)

    • 1½ oz. lightly sweetened black tea syrup (recipe follows)

    • 6 dashes aromatic bitters (Angostura recommended)

    • Lemon twists, for garnish

Preparation

  1. Place all ingredients except garnish in a mixing glass with ice and stir until chilled. Strain into ice shot glasses and garnish with lemon twist.
  2. Black tea syrup: Make 1 cup hot tea and add ½ cup sugar. Stir until dissolved. Let cool in the fridge.
