Oxford Bourbon Festival and Auction 2019

On Friday, the Bourbon Tasting Tour of Homes kicks off at John Currence’s Snackbar.

Guests receive a custom map of downtown Oxford’s historic homes to follow.

Following a walking route through Oxford, guests stop for private tours at a number of historic homes.

At each stop, guests are invited to sample various bourbons.

Guests take in the sensory notes of each bourbon before tasting.

Tour participants enjoy the warm spring evening, perfect for mingling, drinking, and wandering through Oxford’s historic district.

Chefs from the City Grocery Restaurant Group offer light bites to accompany the bourbon tastings at each historic home along the route.

Grammy-nominated funk group Cha Wa performs at The Lyric in the heart of Oxford’s Downtown Square.

An array of covetable items are displayed at Saturday’s auction and dinner at the Vaught/Hemingway Stadium South Endzone Field Club.

Bourbon cocktails are plentiful throughout the evening.

Guests enjoy a dinner specially curated by James Beard Award-winning chef Vishwesh Bhatt.

Attendees place their bids for rare bourbons, travel experiences, distillery trips, and other big-ticket prizes during the live auction.
