Southern Grown Festival

Garden & Gun traveled to Sea Island, Georgia, June 9-12, 2016, for the 2nd annual Southern Grown Festival celebrating the best food, drink, and music of the South. The weekend festivities began with a private Garden & Gun Dinner and a Show prepared by chefs Mike Lata, Nico Romo, and Jonathan Jerusalmy featuring Terroir Life wine pairings.

On Friday, June 10, G&G hosted a lunch inspired by The Southerner’s Cookbook with a panel discussion featuring G&G editor in chief, David DiBenedetto, and chefs John Currence, Griffin Buffkin, and Harrison Sapp.

On Saturday, June 11, guests enjoyed a complimentary shuttle in a Volvo XC90 to the finale concert at The Lodge at Sea Island featuring Grammy Award-winning artists Jason Isbell and Tedeschi Trucks Band.
