The Tenth Annual Lowcountry Field Feast

On November 11, 2018, Garden & Gun was the official media partner of the tenth annual Lowcountry Field Feast, hosted by Byrdhouse Public Relations to benefit Lowcountry Local First, a nonprofit that strives to build awareness of the importance of supporting local and independent businesses and farms. The afternoon began with a cocktail hour overlooking the marsh, featuring drinks from Charleston, South Carolina’s Edmund’s Oast and wine from Grassroots Wine, with the quintessential Lowcountry backdrop at Kiawah River. Four renowned Charleston chefs—Mike Lata and Jason Stanhope of FIG and the Ordinary, Kevin Johnson of the Grocery, and Michael Toscano of Le Farfalle—came together to prepare a four-course seasonal supper.
