For the ninth consecutive year, G&G is partnering with Visit Lake Charles for a full sporting weekend on the Louisiana Gulf Coast. Two guided fishing outings give guests the chance to reel in redfish, flounder, and trophy bass, while two morning hunts mark the opening days of teal season. Each evening, chef Matt Whitney gathers the group for game dinners rooted in the culinary traditions of Southwest Louisiana.

Friday, September 18 — Guests arrive at Grosse Savanne in the early afternoon for an opening fishing outing on the marsh. The evening brings a cocktail hour followed by a seated game dinner.

Saturday, September 19 — Guests head out to the marsh in the pre-dawn darkness for Teal season opening day. After breakfast back at the lodge, the afternoon returns to the water for a second guided fishing trip targeting redfish, flounder, and trophy bass. Cocktail hour and dinner follow.

Sunday, September 20 — A second morning teal hunt closes out the weekend before a final breakfast together and checkout.
