The Photography of Marty Stuart

The Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville’s 2014 exhibit, American Ballads: The Photographs of Marty Stuart, featured more than sixty black-and-white images taken over the span of Marty Stuart’s career. The photographs included everything from quiet moments with the legends (Bill Monroe, Loretta Lynn, George Jones, Willie Nelson) to everyday folks Stuart encountered on the road, as well as a series devoted to the Lakota people in South Dakota. Get a glimpse of Stuart’s work in the following slideshow.
