A modern twist on a classic, this refreshing version of a Paper Plane features rosemary-infused Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. A splash of fresh lime juice balances the bitter sweetness of Aperol and Amaro Nonino, while a touch of simple syrup rounds out the flavors. Served in a chilled coupe and garnished with a lime peel, it’s the perfect blend of past and present.

Ingredients

  • PAPER PLANE (YIELD: 1 COCKTAIL)

    • ¾ oz. rosemary-infused Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (recipe follows)

    • ¾ oz. Aperol

    • ¾ oz. Amaro Nonino

    • ¾ oz. fresh lime juice

    • 1 tsp. simple syrup

    • 1 lime peel

  • For the rosemary-infused bourbon:

    • 2 rosemary sprigs

    • 6 oz. Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Preparation

  1. Infuse the bourbon: Place rosemary sprigs in bourbon. Allow to infuse for 24 hours in the fridge. Finely strain and store in a new container.

  2. Make the cocktail: In a shaker with ice, combine ingredients. Shake vigorously. Finely strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lime peel.
