2016 G&G Preview Party at Synovus Toast of the Town
On Friday, March 11, 2016, Garden & Gun partnered with Aflac to host a celebration of its latest award-winning book, The Southerner’s Cookbook, in Columbus, Georgia, prior to the Grand Tasting at Synovus Toast of the Town. The menu featured recipes from the book, including Salt-Baked Shrimp with Comeback Sauce prepared by chef Adam Evans of Brezza Cucina in Atlanta, and Charleston Brown Water Society Punch from mixologist Roderick Weaver of the Bar at Husk in Charleston, South Carolina. Guests enjoyed a musical performance by Celli, and all event proceeds benefited the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.
