With the cold weather (hopefully) behind us, we want to warm things up with a new G&G playlist. Three of our favorites, Kacey Musgraves, Leon Bridges and Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, make an appearance, all supporting exceptional new albums. Musgraves’ latest album, Golden Hour and Rateliff’s second album, Tearing at the Seams, are out now, while Bridges’ sophomore effort, Good Thing, hits on May 4. In the meantime, you can read about the Fort Worth soul man’s head-turning new sound here. Other highlights include fresh tracks from Parker Millsap and Shakey Graves, three of alt-country’s finest in Ashley Monroe, Lindi Ortega, and Brandi Carlile, as well as the rocker-of-the-moment, Lucy Dacus. Throw in a legend like Mavis Staples and watch those April showers turn into May flowers. Listen along on Spotify and let us know what you think.
