Tom Branighan is co-owner and executive chef of MaMou in New Orleans’ French Quarter. The native New Orleanian began his career at Emeril’s New Orleans and went on to train at the Culinary Institute of America. Tom has over fifteen years of culinary experience including time at Michelin-rated restaurants such as Café Boulud and Bouley in New York City, as well as Lacroix, Jean-Marie Lacroix’s restaurant at the Rittenhouse in Philadelphia. Branighan opened MaMou with sommelier Molly Wismeier in November of 2022. MaMou was named one of “The 24 Best New Restaurants of 2023” by Bon Appetit and named to The New York Times “Restaurant List: The 50 places in the United States that we’re most excited about right now”.
