Cassandra Richardson and Carlene Browner host a week of workshops at Palmetto Bluff

BR Design Co. is a collaboration between sisters Carlene Browner and Cassandra Browner Richardson. Based in Charleston, South Carolina, the sisters create unique polymer clay jewelry and accessories the same way their mother taught them to when they were young. Respectively a first-grade teacher and a nurse by day, the duo launched their business in 2007, dying rolling, cutting, firing, sanding, and buffing each piece by hand.
