Minnesota might be several hundred miles from the Mason-Dixon line, but the Cactus Blossoms—brothers Jack Torrey and Page Burkum, (yes, different last names, but still blood)—craft a vintage country sound akin to those other brother duos, Louvin and Everly.

Produced by JD McPherson, You’re Dreaming, their new album out Friday, January 22, rollicks and shuffles with songs like “Clown Collector” and “Stoplight Kisses,” and then goes gooey, with wistful love songs such as “Mississippi” and “Queen” that will have you feeling like you’re swooning at the counter of a 1950s malt shop. The brothers’ transcendent harmonies shine throughout and the slippery, spooky guitar work gives You’re Dreaming a stamp of authenticity, despite hailing from the frozen tundra of the North Star State. The Cactus Blossoms are one to watch in 2016, and we’re excited to have the exclusive premiere of You’re Dreaming.

You’re Dreaming is available now for pre-order from iTunes and Amazon.
