Our Favorite Southern Front Doors

We love the South’s colorful front doors, and we want to see your favorites, too

Southerners know how to say welcome in style—sometimes without even saying a word. Whether you’re strolling down a residential street in Richmond, Virginia, or Dallas, Texas, just take a look at all the stylish, inviting front doors and entryways painted in pretty color combinations, overflowing with potted containers, or framed in flowering climbing vines.

Here in Charleston, it’s hard not to be gobsmacked by the beauty of front doors at every turn. We’re fans of the Instagram account @strollingcharleston and their inspiring snapshots of doors throughout the city (a few of our favorites follow below).

We’d like to see your photos, too. All you have to do is tag @gardenandgun in the image with hashtag #southernfrontdoors over the next month and we’ll post a gallery of our favorites in July.
