No one knows Southern seafood quite like the fishermen of the Gulf Coast—and maybe Birmingham, Alabama-based photographer Wes Frazer. Commissioned by Alabama Gulf Seafood, Frazer set off to document the seafood industry in Alabama and the men and women who devote their lives to fresh Gulf Coast catch. Frazer spent a week on the water hauling in crab, shrimp, multitudes of fish, and oysters, learning first-hand what hard work it takes to get good seafood.
