Summer is in our sights—and this weekend, it’ll be in our ears, too, with this warm-weather playlist. We’re rocking fresh cuts from Nashville duo Brothers Osborne and African blues-guitar maestro Bombino, as well as a gorgeous ballad from country royalty Shooter Jennings, whose forthcoming album Shooter is the honest-to-God country record he was destined to make. There’s new stuff from Low Cut Connie, one of the best rock bands going right now, as well as Black River Delta, a trio from Sweden who sound like they crawled out of the Mississippi Hills and crashed at RL Burnside’s house. Toss in some classics from Led Zeppelin, Molly Hatchet, and the Allman Brothers (because, duh, every summer gathering needs the Allmans), and you’ll have the soundtrack to good times whether you’re headed to the beach, the mountains, or your backyard. Take a listen on Spotify and let us know what you think.
