Books Along the Teche Literary Festival

Celebrating great Southern writers and Louisiana culture.

With a focus on great southern writers, the sixth annual Books Along the Teche Literary Festival celebrates the creativity of New Iberia, Louisiana, and the writers that hail from the area. This year’s event pays special tribute to featured writer Osha Gray Davidson, who penned Best of Enemies: Race and Redemption in the New South. Throughout the event, activities include writing workshops, a book fair, academic symposiums and receptions, poetry readings, live music, movie screenings, and tours of the town famously described in James Lee Burke’s Dave Robicheaux novels.
