The 2025 Good Dog Photo Contest

How it works

• Enter a photo of your dog below. Entries are accepted between September 3 and September 30, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
• Vote for your dog or others between September 3 and October 3, at 5 p.m. EDT. Encourage your friends to vote too.

Winners
• Our editors will pick one overall winner, one sleeping dog, and several honorable mentions—regardless of the number of votes. The overall winner and sleeping dog winner will be featured in the December 2025/January 2026 issue of Garden & Gun. The overall winner will receive a prize pack from G&G and the sleeping dog winner will receive a dog bed from Crypton.
• The ten photos with the most online votes will be named readers’ choice winners.
• The overall winner, sleeping dog winner, honorable mentions, and readers’ choice winners will be announced online November 4.
