Marla Grosko took this photo of the family room in her Columbia, Tennessee, home, capturing her tree laden with some 300 ornaments—many more than thirty years old. G&G judges said they could feel the warmth in the room and loved that every inch of the tree was tastefully covered with ornaments. Grosko says decorating is a labor of love: “It is always a work in progress that changes on a yearly basis.” We can’t wait to see her spread in 2021!

Linda Roberts of Prospect, Kentucky, captured the most votes in the contest with this shot of her family celebrating Christmas Eve a few years ago, taken by her daughter Robin. Inspired by memories of her family gatherings as a child, the grandmother of thirteen spends weeks decorating the house and planning a dinner party where Santa is a special guest. “It is a time to break out the crystal, polish the silver, and light the candles,” Roberts says, and each grandchild takes a turn telling Santa their Christmas wishes. “It is a truly magical night that we anticipate all year long.”
