SEWE Cocktails & Conservation 2022

Guests arrive for the first of the weekend’s Cocktails and Conservation events.

Featuring Dos Primos Tequila, jalapeño honey syrup, and lime juice, the Incas cocktail is named for one of the last two Carolina parakeets that remained before the species’ extinction.

Prior to the discussion, guests sip Dos Primos cocktails in the Duck Camp lounge.

A highlight of the conversation, J. Drew Lanham’s newest poetry collection, Sparrow Envy, explores the writer and ornithologist’s fascination with birds and wildlife.

In the Duck Camp lounge, guests were invited to preview apparel from the premium outdoor outfitter.

J. Drew Lanham engages with the audience, asking guests to reflect on their own bird-watching stories and how they have affected their lives.
