SEWE Cocktails & Conservation 2020

On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, Garden & Gun opened its doors for two editions of the popular Cocktails & Conservation series.

SEWE ambassadors posed for a photo before the lectures began.

A new addition at this year’s event, the G&G Sport Shop invited guests to shop an array of fine sporting wares from Ball and Buck, Dark’s Designs in Leather, Duck Camp, McKenna Quinn, and Wren & Ivy.

The G&G Sport Shop featured everything from men’s and women’s sporting gear to leather bags, wallets, and belts.

Guests kicked back with cocktails in the Blade and Bow Bourbon Lounge before Saturday’s talk.

Throughout the afternoon, whiskey ambassador Peter Sununu was on hand to pour neat tastings of Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

Guests were invited to explore the G&G offices before editor in chief David DiBenedetto took the stage.

David DiBenedetto and contributing editor T. Edward Nickens shared stories of growing up and raising their own children in the great outdoors.

Sunday’s discussion with Jerry Holden, Ducks Unlimited’s Southern director of operations, centered on Southern duck hunting and the necessary measures to ensure the sport’s viability.

Sunday’s presentation featured another special guest: Dave DiBenedetto’s Labrador retriever, Story.

Following the talks, guests mingled throughout the G&G offices over cocktails from the pop-up Blade and Bow Bourbon Lounge.

The True Pair and the Double Barrel bourbon cocktails were available in the Blade and Bow Bourbon Lounge.

Sporting enthusiasts filled the G&G offices during both weekend events.
