Meet the Maker: J. Stark

Join G&G during SEWE Weekend for an intimate, in-gallery Meet the Maker with Charleston-based designer Jess Nicoles, founder of J. Stark. Known for its thoughtfully designed, impeccably crafted leather goods, J. Stark blends durability, function, and understated style—hallmarks of modern Southern design.

The afternoon will begin with a Q&A, giving guests the opportunity to hear directly from the maker herself and gain a deeper appreciation for the stories behind the work.

Guests are then invited to browse gallery art alongside curated Fieldshop favorites while mingling with one of Charleston’s most talented artisans. J. Stark will be on-site offering custom embossing on select pieces and sharing insights into her design process, craftsmanship, and Charleston roots.
