Job Opening: Part-Time Help Desk Analyst

Garden & Gun seeks a part-time Help Desk Analyst for 20 hours a week to serve as the first point of IT contact for users across the company. This position works directly with users to resolve incidents and requests through direct deskside support in our Charleston, South Carolina office. Additional responsibilities include user account administration, technology provisioning, managing iPads, assisting with project initiatives, and supporting technology used at our retail location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting both Apple and Microsoft products. Occasional weekend work may be required.

 Technical responsibilities:

> Provide excellent technical assistance through direct interactions with users

> Update IT systems including ticket tracking, knowledge base and asset inventory

> Investigate user problems and identifies their source; determine possible solutions; test and implement solution

> Maintain file servers, network cabling, printers and related equipment

> Perform and/or oversee software and application installation and upgrades

> Troubleshoot network, system and applications to identify and correct issues

> Receive all incoming ticket, tasks, questions, and other issues submitted via help desk, email or walk-up

> Install, configure, and deploy computer workstations, software, and peripheral devices using standardized processes, procedures, and tools

> Maintain accurate inventories and consistent configurations.

Qualifications:

> High School diploma or equivalent

> Two years of relevant work experience

> Ability to solve problems with high energy and a positive attitude, and demonstrate a constructive and helpful demeanor in all situations

> Ability to work independently with little direction

> Proven technical and analytical skills with infrastructure systems environments and protocols

> Excellent written and verbal communication as well as organizational skills

> Ability to move/lift boxes of up to 50 pounds
