Sidecar

A timeless cocktail with a citrusy twist

The Sidecar has earned its place in cocktail history, enduring nearly a century thanks to its timeless blend of warmth and brightness. With roots in the golden age of bartending—some say Paris, others London—this cocktail captures the spirit of the early 20th century, becoming a favorite of artists, writers, and anyone drawn to its bold simplicity.

At the Garden & Gun Club at Stitzel-Weller Distillery, the Sidecar gains a richer profile, with demerara syrup lending subtle caramel notes to balance the warmth of brandy or cognac. Perfect for an autumn toast, this version is finished with an ornate orange twist, honoring tradition with a depth that captures the essence of a true cocktail classic.
