Sporting Dogs Wow the Crowds at SEWE
High-flying pups and retriever demos steal the show at Charleston’s Southeastern Wildlife Exposition
Since 1983, the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) has welcomed visitors to Charleston, South Carolina, for a jam-packed weekend of city-wide educational events showcasing the sporting life, wildlife art, and conservation. During the event, the riverside Brittlebank Park is a must-visit destination for animal lovers, many of whom bring their own pups to the dog-friendly festival. This past weekend, patrons cheered on their favorite athletes in the popular DockDogs competition and learned gundog training techniques from Mike Stewart of Wildrose Kennels. Below are a few sights from the weekend.
