Rumors of its return have been spinning around the internet since early spring, but it’s official: Chick-fil-A is bringing back its beloved banana pudding milkshake, at least for a limited time. From August 26 through November 16, the fan-favorite dessert will return to the menu of the Atlanta-based fast-food chain, which is also debuting a banana frosted coffee and re-upping its Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich.

“Whether we are surprising our guests with new flavors and offerings or taking classic items and bringing them back with a twist, each menu introduction is made after listening to their needs,” says Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A. It seems the needs are great: “I was distraught when they stopped selling it,” wrote one Reddit user of the milkshake last year. “We have won!!” said a triumphant X user after hearing of its comeback. Yet another was more conflicted: “Sadly just learned that Chick-fil-A will have a banana pudding milkshake this fall so I must go to the gym every day for the next 2 months…”

The shake, a combination of fresh bananas, vanilla wafer cookie crumbles, whipped cream, and a signature cherry, first appeared in 2011, and it returns this year just in time for National Banana Pudding Day on August 29. Can’t get to Chick-fil-A—or get enough banana pudding? Make this warm version of the classic at home.
