Bright and breezy weather signals the start of one of the South’s favorite sporting events, the Masters Tournament. Thousands will journey to Augusta, Georgia, to cheer on the players while the rest of us watch from the comfort of our couches. At home or in person, an azalea cocktail should be in hand.

As the unofficial drink of the Masters, the cocktail is bright pink like its namesake flower, which famously beautifies the course. Pineapple and sweet cherry add a fruity zing that may or may not offset the need for a Sunday Masters nap. You can easily whip up the drink at home, bring a pitcher to a spring gathering, or visit Craft & Vine in Augusta, which developed its version of the recipe (shared below) to pair with its other Masters-inspired selections.
