French 75, New Orleans Style

Ingredients

  • KRÉYOLE 75 (Yield: 1 Drink)

    • 1 tbsp. Creole seasoning

    • 1 oz. Peychaud’s aperitivo

    • ¾ oz. dry gin

    • ¾ oz. pineapple juice

    • ¾ oz. lemon juice

    • 2 oz. Champagne or sparkling wine


Preparation

  1. Pour the Creole seasoning in a small bowl. Using a little water, dampen the rim of a champagne flute. Dip the rim into the Creole seasoning and set the glass aside. Combine the aperitivo, gin, and juices in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and carefully strain the mixture into the flute. Float the Champagne or sparkling wine on top.
